iWitness Records
was originally formed in 2002 by Mission House Music's
Alan Farris from
a young pop-infused southern gospel quartet called iWitness.
In late 2006, seeking to expand its
reach, Mission House Music acquired the namesake in order
to feature the country and gospel sounds the
flagship label no longer produced. Since its aquisition
in 2006, the thriving label has gone on to
achieve remarkable success in southern gospel music as
well as Country and Inspirational markets
throughout the country and world. Placing songs on the
charts both domestically and foreign. With
the signing of Arkin Terrell in 2007, the positive country
and southern gospel branded label got busy
producing hits from Terrell’s album “One Step
Closer”, including Clean Slate, You Did Not Leave
Me Behind, and others. Most recently, in an effort to cross
brand and market its Artists, Mission
House Music’s Judy Martin Hess joined Terrell as
a label mate along with Amy Douglas to solidify
iWitness Records as a producer of Superior Inspirational
